31 Harford Cumming Eve

Harford Cumming Eve was born on the 23rd Oct 1888 at Beech Isalnd SC.

He married Sadire Pheobe Pinckney who was born on the 4th Dec 1896. They married on the 10th Dec 1913 at Spring Island SC.

  • Caroline Porcher Eve - born 15th Sept 1914. She married William E McLeod on the 26th June 1935.
  • Elizabeth Hammond Eve - born 2nd Feb 1915. She married John D Horne on the 27th Jan 1937.
  • Harford Cumming Eve (jr) - born 17th April 1917. He married L Maron Summer in 1939. He died on September 16, 1950 in Korea. First Lieutenant Eve was a member of Headquarters, IX Corps, US Army. He was Killed in Action while fighting the enemy in South Korea. First Lieutenant Eve was awarded the Purple Heart posthumously.
  • Miles Pinckey Eve - born 26th Oct 1918. He married Catherine I Jackson on the 2nd Aug 1945.
  • Sarah Lee Eve - born 19th March 1922. She married H M Trollinger in 1942.
  • Paul FitzSimmons Eve - born 7th October 1924. He married Mary Elwell on the 10th October 1950.
  • Frances Davant Eve - born 12th Dec 1926. Married M T Brown on the 15th March 1945.

Lovelace Eve was born about 1882. He died in 1961. He married Isabella Macdonald who was born in 1889 and died in 1971. He became the publisher of the Augusta Chronicle

  • Lovelace Eve (f) - born 1917. She married Rosewall Malcolm Hair in 1938. He was born on the 25th March 1917.
  • Lochlyn Eve (f) - born 1920. She married Ray Wiley in 1955.
