10 Thomas Eve

Thomas Eve was born in 1772..

He married Sara Hansel in 1797 at Hordon. They had the following children.

  • Elizabeth Eve - born 1799.
  • Sarah Eve - born about 1800.


11 Robert Eve

Robert Eve was born in 1777. He died in 1853.

He married twice, first to Martha Taylor in 1804. She died in 1805. He then married Sara Watts in 1806. They had the following children.

  • William Eve - born in 1807.
  • Elizabeth Eve - born in 1809. She died in 1812.


12 James Eve

James Eve was born in 1809 in Stock. He died there in 1871.

He married Mary Ann Monk in 1830. She died in 1875. They had the following children born in Stock

  • Elizabeth Eve - born 1830 died 1835.
  • Mary Ann Eve - born 1832.
  • James Eve (15) - born 1835 in Downham.
  • Elizabeth Eve - born 1842.


13 Robert Eve

Robert Eve was born in 1813 in Stock. He died there in 1890.

He married Elizabeth White in 1835 at West Hanningford. She died in 1890 aged 72. They had the following children in West Hanningford;

  • Rebecca Eve - born 1837.
  • Thomas Eve - born 1839. He died in 1863.
  • Elizabeth Eve - born 1841
  • Sara Eve - born 1846.
  • Robert William Eve - born 1855. He died in 1864.

In 1841 & 1851 Robert and his family were living at Charcells. He was an agricultural labourer. In 1851 Rebecca (13) was working as a servant in the village. By 1862 they had moved to East Hanningford at "Little Claydons" where Robert is recorded as being deaf. They remained there for the rest of their lives.


14 George Eve

George Eve was born in 1827 in Stock. He died there in 1873.

He married Ann Watts in 1845 at Stock. They had the following children in Stock;

  • George Eve (16)- born 1846.
  • James Robert Eve (17) - born 1847.
  • Sara Ann Eve Eve - born 1850
  • Walter Eve - born 1852.
  • William Eve - born 1857. He died in 1876.
  • Alfred John Eve - born 1860. He died in 1877.
  • Charles Eve - born 1862. He died in 1883.

In 1851 they lived in Stock, but by 1861 they had moved to Buttsbury. Hw was an earthburner and she was a shopkeeper. George and James were agricultural labourers. In 1871 they lived at Stock Street. George at that time was a beerseller.
