Third Generation

5 Robert Eve

Robert Eve was born in 1715. He died in 1779.

He married Jane Wood in 1742 at South Weald. They had the following children:

• Jane Eve - born 1742. She married William Sutton in 1760.
• Robert Eve (8) - born 1743
• Thomas Eve - born 1745. He died in 1786
• Sara Eve - born 1747
• Mary Eve - born 1750. She died in 1752.
• Amy Eve - born 1752. She married Henry Clarke in 1793.
• Martha Eve - born 1756. She died in 1779
• Mary Eve - born 1759. She died in 1761.

Robert was described as a Yeoman in his Will.

• He gave his house and orchards to wife Jane.
• To sons Robert, Thomas and Henry he left his estate called "Holts". "Holts" to go to Roberts son Thomas after his death.
• To son Robert and his son Robert land occupied by John Attridge.
• To his daughter Jane Sutton, wife of William, goods.
• To his second daughter Amy household goods.

6 Thomas Eve

Thomas Eve was born in 1720. He died in 1779.

He married Hannah Kettle in 1752. She died in 1829. They had the following children:

• Thomas Eve - born 1757. He died in 1799.
• Sara Eve - born 1759. She married Thomas Staines in 1785. She died in 1787.
• John Eve - born 1762. He died the same year.
• Robert Eve - born 1763. He died in 1764
• Ben Eve - born 1764. He died the same year.
• Margaret Eve - born 1767. She died the same year.
• Susan Eve - born 1768. She died the same year
• Joseph Eve - born 1769. He died the same year.
• Adam Eve - born 1770. He died the same year.

7 Robert Eve

Robert Eve was born in 1742 in Chipping Hill, Witham. He died in 1827 in Stock.

He married twice. First to Alice Harries in 1770 at Little Bursted. Second to Mary Oake in 1783 in Great Bursted. She died in 1823 aged 73.

He had the following children.

• Robert Eve (9) - born 1777 in Chipping Hill
• Charlotte Eve - born 1791 in Stock
• Jonathan Eve - born 1793. He died in 1797 in Stock

Fourth Generation

8 Robert Eve

Robert Eve was born in 1743. He died in 1807.

He married Elizabeth Roberson in 1770. She died in 1834. They had the following children:

• Elizabeth Eve - born 1771. She died the same year.
• Robert Eve - born 1771. He died in 1772.
• Thomas Eve (10) - born 1772
• Elizabeth Eve - born 1773. She married John Maythorne in 1794
• Mary Eve - born 1774
• Robert Eve - born 1775. He died the same year.
• John Eve - born 1775. He died in 1776
• Robert Eve (11) - born 1777
• Henry Eve - born 1778. He died in 1834.
• John Eve - born 1782. He was christened on the 10th February 1782 in Mountnessing. He married Mary Tween in 1808 at Leaden Roding.He died in 1843 in Alborough Hatch. It is believed they had least one child - John Eve born 1815 in Hornchurch. See link below for the Tree of John Eve.

9 Robert Eve

Robert Eve was born in 1777 at Chipping Hill. He died in 1860 at Stock.

He married Mary English in 1806 in Stock. She died in 1858 also at Stock.

They had the following children born at Stock:

• James Eve (12) - born 1809
• Robert Eve (13) - born 1813
• William Eve - born 1815. He died in 1846 in Fobbing.
• Mary Eve - born 1819. She died in . 1835.
• Elizabeth Eve - born 1822. She married George Young in 1841 at Stock.
• George Eve (14) - born 1827.

In 1841 Robert was an agricultural labourer living in Stock.
