15 James Eve

James Eve was born in 1835 at Downham. He died in 1906 in West Ham.

He married Sophie Brazier in 1860 at Stock. . They had the following children.

  • Elizabeth Eve - born 1830. She died in 1835 in Stock.
  • William Eve - born 1871 in West Ham
  • Mary Ann Eve - born 1874 in West Ham

In 1861 James was living in Stock as an agricultural labourer. By 1871 they had moved to West Ham where James was a dock labourer.


16 George Eve

George Eve was born in 1846 in Stock.

He married Emma in 1871. They had the following children.

  • Edward George Eve - was born in 1874 in Great Baddow.He married in 1902 in Cambridge and had two children Edward George James Eve born 1902 and Leslie Arthur Eve born 1903.

In 1881 George was living in South Weald as a Coachman with Emma and Edward.

In 1901 the family were living in Cambridge where George Eve was a publican. Edward Eve was a barman.


17 James Robert Eve

James Robert Eve was born in 1847 in Stock

He married Mary Ann in 1867. They had the following children.

  • Emma Eve - born 1869 Stock
  • Rosa M Eve - born 1875 Hazelwood, Yorkshire
  • Agnes Eve - born 1876 Hazelwood, Yorkshire
  • George James Eve - born 1879. He died in 1882 in Ingatestone
  • Horace Willie Eve - born 1881 Ingatestone
  • Robert Eve - born 1883. He died the same year.
  • Thirza Eve - born 1883 Ingatestone
  • Charles James Eve - born 1885. He died the same year.
  • Minnie Eve - born 1886. She died the same year.

In 1881 James was landlord of "The Woolpack", Ingatestone.


18 Walter Eve

Walter Eve was born in 1852 in Stock.

He married Emily Ellen in 1875 and had the following children:

  • Walter David Eve - born 1876.
  • Emily Eve - born 1878 in Canning Town, London
  • Agnes Eve - born 1880 in Canning Town, London
  • Mary Ann Eve - born 1883 in Canning Town, London
  • Rose Emma Eve - born 1885 in Canning Town, London.

In 1881 Walter was a Greengrocer living in West Ham.
