Abraham Wright Eve was born in 1683 in
Chippling Ongar. He died in 1742 probably at "Parsley Hall", High Ongar.
He left a will showing his close relationship with his step family;
- To my brother John Eve "Jacobs Field" in Shenfield.
- To Abraham Wright Eve the son of my brother John ........
- To Samuel Eve the son of my brother John ........
- To my brother John Eve "Kents" at Magdelen Laver and North Weald.
- To my sister Sara Motts £100.
- To my brother Joseph Eve £100.
- To my brother Isaac Eve £200.
- I give to the five children of Samuel Eve, my brother, £20 at 21 years.
- Various cousins & neices are left a watch, a diamond ring, an indian cabinet
and £100.
- He left £50 to the "Friends Meeting House" on Billericay.
There was a court case later where Isaac challenged his Will.
5 John Eve
John Eve was born in about 1690. He
probably died in Bath, Somerset
He married Mary. They had the following children born in Bath.
- Denise Eve - born 1724
- Samuel Eve (9) - born 1725
- Abraham Wright Eve (10) - born 1733.
- John Eve - born about 1735. He married Mary Merritt on the 4th December 1762 in Bath Abbey. They had
at least two children. Ann baptised 1763 and Susanna Eve baptised 1765.
- Elizabeth Eve - born about 1735 There is a record of an Elizabeth Eaves (sic) marrying Peter
Alphonse Dallery ny licence on the 7th Feb 1780. This may be a different Elizabeth.
6 Samuel Eve
Samuel Eve was born in 1699 in Mountnessing.
He died in 1732 in Romford.
He married Elizabeth Cobham in 1720 in Romford. After she died in the same year,
he married Sara Roberts in 1722 in Friern Barnet.
He had the following children.
- Sara Eve - born 1723.
- Elizabeth Eve - born 1724. She died the same year.
- Mary Eve - born 1726. She died the same year.
- Samuel Eve - born 1728.
- Grace Eve - born 1729.
- Mary Eve - born 1730.
- Ben Eve (11) - born 1732.
Samuel left a Will which states he is a barber from
Hornchurch. He leaves all his estate in Mountnessting to Sara and £5 each to Sara, Samuel,
Grace, Mary and Ben his children.
7 Joseph Eve
Joseph Eve was born in 1701 in Mountnessing.
He died in 1743 in Corringham.
He married Agnes Johnson in 1723 in Fobbing.
He had the following children born in Corringham
- Joseph Eve - born 1725. He died the same year
- Thomas Eve - born 1726. He died the same year.
- Joseph Eve - born 1727. He died the same year.
- John Eve (12)- born 1729.
- Agnes Eve - born 1732.
- Mary Eve - born 1734.
- Elizabeth Eve - born 1735.
- Ann Eve - born 1736.
8 Isaac Eve
Isaac Eve was born in 1706 in Mountnessing.
He married Flora Addington and had the following children at Blackmore. He was
a Congregationalist.

- Flora Eve - born 1730.
- Sara Eve - born 1733.
- Isaac Eve - born 1736. Nothing else known.
