Fredric James Eve worked in the Post Office in London. Between 1896 and 1898 he left to join the Post Office in Cape Colony. He returned to Grat Britain and married in 1900.

During the Boer War he was Postmaster of Steynesburg and was a Leiutenant in the Steynesburg Town Guard.

4. Eric George Eve

Eric George Eve was born in 1915 in Hendon. He died in Hendon in 1984. He married Gwynneth Hopkins in 1937. They had the following children.
