Annie (Eve) and Charles Mecklenburgh

Ann Eve was born in 1864 in near Chelmsford. She married Charles Mecklenburgh in 1883. Annie died in 1946, and is buried in Brentwood Cemetery, England. They had 10 children -

• Elizabeth Jane Mecklenburgh - born 1885 - died 1946. She married Thomas Simons. They emigrated to Canada and settled in Saskatchewan
• John Henry Mecklenburgh (known as Jack)- born about 1888 - died 14 Feb 1942 age 63. He married Margaret Caroline and emigrated to Perth, Western Australia. John was a Private in the Australian Infantry in WW1. Jack and Margaret had 3 children born in Great Britain.
• Edith Mecklenburgh - born 1890 - died 1974. She married Wally Bishop in England and later remarried.
• Nellie Mecklenburgh - born 1892 - died December 1991. She married Charles Cowley. They lived in Bromley Kent.
• Lily Mecklenburgh - born June 1898 - died 1945.
• Daisy Mecklenburgh - born June 1898 - died 1964. She married Arthur Rawling they emigrated to Australia
• Fred Mecklenburgh - died 1946, married Dorothy Osgood in England
• William Mecklenburgh - born 1902 - died 1969. He married Mary Pyner in England
• Charles Mecklenburgh - born 1905 - died 1974. He married Dorothy (Dolly) Wood. They lived in Brentwood, England.
• Thomas Mecklenburgh - born -1909 - died 1969. He never married.

In the 1891 census Annie and Charles are listed as living at 6 Bridge Row in Chelmsford where Charles was working as a Bricklayer.
