10 William Henry Eve

William Henry Eve was born in 1855 at Sheffield.

He married Harriet from Feering in 1876 in Chelmsford. They had the following children in Chelmsford:

• William Henry Eve - born 1876
• Fred Charles Eve - born 1878. He died the same year.
• Violet Annie Eve - born 1881

When the children were born they were living at Primrose Hill, Chelmsford. He was a skinner.

11 Owen Edward Eve

Owen Edward Eve was born in 1867 in Chelmsford. He died in 1942 in Chelmsford.

He married Sara in 1890 at Kingston upon Thames. When he died he left her £427. He was an Insurance Agent and lived in Hamlet Road Chelmsford.

12 William Thomas Eve

William Thomas Eve was born 1852 and died 1906. He married Ann Cooper (1852-1898) in Tillingham, Essex on 22nd July 1874. They had the following children:

• Alice Eve - born 1875. She married Fred Atkinson
• Fred Eve - born 1877. He married Clara. They had four daughters: Minnie, Violet, Olive and Elsie. Fred took over the Traction Engine business from William when he died.
• Kate Eve - born 1881
• William Eve - born 1881. It is believed he never married. He emigrated to Canada where he took up tree felling. Died at MacGregor, Canada in 1906 and is commemorated on his father's gravestone in Barling churchyard.
• Maud Eve - born 1883. She died in 1917 unmarried
• George Eve - born 1885. He married Bertha Agnes. They had two sons, George Frederick Eve and Percy Henry Eve. Percy H Eve died aged 21 whilst serving in country during the second world war. George F Eve married May Florence Mills, known as Maisie. They had one son, Christopher Robin Eve (born 17th February 1948) and moved to New Zealand about 1962 along with George's parents George & Bertha Eve. Christopher R Eve married Joan Kathleen Bines. They have three children.
• Edith Eve - born 1887. She married Arthur Valentine. They had three children: - Kathleen Edith Nellie (1918 - 1997) married Arthur Ware and they had one daughter. - Richard Arthur aka Dick (1920) married Betty Austin. - Elizabeth Maud aka Betty (1924) married Richard Bailey aka Bill they had one daughter.
• Miriam Eve - died 1890

• Frank B Eve - born 1900. Frank had a son Leslie (born 1925). Leslie has a daughter and was still alive in the late 80s.
• Winifred Eve - born 1905? Winifred had two children, Peggy and John.

13 Simon Eve

Simon Eve was born in 1855 in Little Dunmow

He married Harriet and had the following children :

• Harriet Eve - born 1877 in Ilford
• Ellen Eve - born 1879 in Stratford
• William Eve - born 1881 in Ilford

In 1881 Simon was living in Barking and was a bricklayer.
