41. Henry Weston Eve

Born 1790 in Weston. Died 1854 in Maldon. He married Mary Douglas who died in 1875 in Maldon. He had the following children:

Henry Weston's eldest son (HENRY WESTON EVE) attended Trinity College Cambridge. He was admitted to Trinity College on May 6, 1856. He is described as the son of Henry Weston, corn merchant, of Maldon, Essex. He attended Mill Hill and Rugby schools. He obtained is BA in 1860; M.A. in 1863. and became a fellow in 1862.

He became the Assistant Master at Wellington College, 1860-76 (with a brief interval when he served as an Assistant Commissioner to the Endowed Schools Commission). Head Master of University College School, London, 1877- 98. Dean of the College of Preceptors, 1883. Life Governor of Mill Hill School.

He married Florence Nightingale Gross, daughter. of William Gross. Author, scholastic (Wellington French Grammar, etc.).

He died June 26, 1910, at 37, Gordon Square, London. He first married in 1868 in Dover.

42. William Eve.

Born 1793 in Weston. He died in 1853 in Moreton. He married Mary Chaplin, 1814 in Navestock. She died in 1873 in Moreton. They had the following children

44. Henry Eve.

Born 1794 in Letchworth Hefts. Died 1873 in Berners Roding. He married Elizabeth. She died in 1895. They had the following children:

HENRY attended Cambridge University. He entered Magdalene College on May 7th 1814. He is described as the son of Col. Henry Eve of Barnish Hall, Essex. In 1812 he attended Oxford (Wadham College), whence he matric. Feb. 5, 1812, age 17: Here he is described as the son of Henry, of Letchworth, Herts. B.A. 1816; M.A. 1821. Previously at Wadham College. He was ordained a priest in London on Dec. 20, 1818. He became the rector South Ockendon, Essex between 1819-72.

45 Edmund Long Eve

Born 1795 in Letchworth Herts. Died 1877 in Bristol. He married Harriet Thomson, 1830 in Luton. She died in 1891. They had the following children:

  • Edmund Eve; Born 1834 in Colchester. He married Mary Ann, 1862.
  • Harriet Eve; Born 1831 in Colchester. Died 1889.
  • Ellen Eve; Born 1839 in Colchester.
EDMUND LONG attended Cambridge University. He was admitted to Queens College in 1825 , He received a BA in 1829 and a MA in 1833.

46. Robert Long Eve

Born 1795 in Berners Roding. Died 1858 in Berners Roding. He married Lydia Eve, 1820 in Moreton. She died in l846 in Ingalestone. Lydia EVE was the daughter of RICHARD EVE. They had the following children:
