6. Weston Eve

Born About 1605 in Abbess Roding. He died 1672 in Great Cranfield. He married Margaret Pavely in 1627 in High Roding. They had the following children :

  • Philip Eve (12)
  • Susan Eve; Born 1630.
  • Weston Eve; Born 1632 in Great Canfield. He died 1694.
  • Elizabeth Eve; Born 1634 in Great Canfield.
  • Robert Eve (13)

1637 - He paid ShipTax of two shillings and sixpence whilst living in Creat Cranfield. The land was purchased in 1581 probably by his grandfather WESTON.

1662 - He paid Hearth Tax for one hearth in Gerat Hallingbury a few miles away.

1671 - He was back in Canflield paying hearth tax for one hearth

7. Weston Eve.

Born 1615 in Bishops Stortford. He died in1686 in Watford Herts. His wife Mary died 1667 in Abbess Roding. They had the following children: :

  • Eve; Born 1656 in Furneaux Pelharn.
  • Eve; Born 1655 in Furneaux Peiham.
WESTON EVE' s children are not mentioned in his will of 1686. They probabit were dead by this date.

1662 - He paid Hearth Tax for one hearth in Abbess Roding.

1671 - He paid Hearth Tax for two hearths in Leaden Roding.

He left a will in 1686. At the time of his death he was living in Watford. His wife MARY died in the same year. An extract from his will is reproduced below; "I give to ADAM the second son of my brother HENRY "Dranesfield" in Watford at Butts Hill that I bought from T Aldman until my nephew CHARLES brother of ADAM shall reach 20 years and the said brother CHARLES shall have my now dwelling called "Reed Hall" in Watford. To the two children of my brother ADAM ?? money. To the eldest son WESTON 20 shillings. To the two Sons of my brother SAMUEL viz SAMUEL and ADAM 20 shillings each. To the three sons of my brother RICHARD viz WESTON, ADAM, and RICHARD 20 shillings each. To WESTON son of my brother HENRY ?"

8. Adam Eve.

Born 1618 in Bishops Stortford. He died in 1662 in Abbess Roding. His wife Joan. died in 1667 in Abbess Roding. They had the following children:

  • Jane Eve: Born 1650.
  • Adam Eve (14)
  • Weston Eve; Born 1654 in Abbess Roding. He died 1711 in Abbess Roding.
1650 - He was churchwarden in Abbess Roding Church.

1662 - He paid for four hearths at Barnish Hamlet (Barwick Barns) left to him by his father ADAM.

9. Samuel Eve.

Born 1620 in Abbess Roding. He married Mary. They had the following children:

  • Mary Eve; Born 1645 in Little Canfield.
  • Samuel Eve; Born 1649 in Little Canfeld. He died Before 1653 in Little Canfiled

11. Henry Eve

Born 1633 in Abbess Roding. He died 1719 in Watford Herts.He married Sarah. They had the following children

  • Adam Eve; Born 1668 in Watford
