She married John William Mc Machan the son of son of John McMachan and Elizabeth Watts. He was born on the 5th May 1867 in Greenfield, Ohio, and died 7th January 1945 in Lakeview Hosp, Danville, Vermilion, Illinois.

Mrs Anna S. McMahan, 81, Batestown, Route 1, died Thursday night at her home after a 5 month illness. The widow of J. William McMahan, Mrs. McMahan came to this community 60 years ago from Ohio. She was born in that state Dec. 17, 1867 a daughter of Peter and Sophie Wetzel Eve. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church. Surviving are four sons, Russell, Springfield, Ohio; Fred Peoria; Ted, Chicago and Ralph, Tampa: Two daughters, Mrs John Freeland, Danville, and Esther McMahan, Peoria; one step-daughter Mrs Clifton Howe, Danville: 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.The body is at the Edmund & Dickson Funeral Home where services will
be held at 2p.m. Sunday. The Rev James Hyllberg will officiate, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery.
He married Esther A. She was born in 1870, and died in 1943. They had the following children.

George Eve - Listed as living in North Street, Minonk Township, Woodford County. He was born in April 1849 in England. His parents were also born in England. He married Elizabeth in 1867/8 in England. He came to the US in 1879. Elizabeth was born in August 1848. They had 14 children. He may have links with Haslingden. There is a record of a marriage of a George Eve in the March quarter of 1868, The birth of Eliza Eve was recorded in June 1869 and Hannah Eve in June 1873. Haslingden is situated in the north of England near Blackburn.

In the 1930 census Anna Eve his widow was living in Minonk. She was 81 years old living with her daughter Edna Eve, age 44 who was single.
Harry Eve (1) - Born in England in 1879. He came to the US in 1880. He lived in Minonk, Woodford County. He married Anna who was born in Illinois in about 1908. They had at least one child;
George Eve (2) - He was born in about 1888 in Illinois. He married Bessie in about 1912. They had at least three children.

Donald G. Eve, 75, of 1409 Illinois died at 8:40 a.m. Wednesday, April 26,
1995, at Pekin Hospital.
Born Feb. 7, 1920, in Minonk to George and Bessie Fell Eve, he married Eloise Mae Junker on
Aug. 30, 1941, in Kahoka, Mo. She died Feb. 25, 1995, in Pekin. One brother and one sister also preceded him in death.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Danny (Janice L.) Sloter of Pekin; one son, Gary of Milan,
Italy; and four grandchildren.
He was a World War II Army Air Forces veteran, serving in the South Pacific and New Guinea.
He was a member of Disabled American Veterans.
He was a construction steamfitter and worked out of Steamfitters Local 353 in Peoria for 45
years. He retired in 1982.
He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Pekin, Pekin Masonic Lodge 29, AF&AM,
and was a past co- leader of Boy Scout Troop 181 in Pekin.
Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Saturday at Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Pekin
Chapel, with Masonic rites at 10:45. Services will follow immediately at the chapel. The Rev.
Dr. R. David Goodell will officiate. Private burial will be Monday at Lakeside Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Methodist Medical Center hospice program in Peoria
