John Eve was born about 1680.

He married Mary Disbrow at Impington in 1709. They had the following children born in Chesterton:

• John Eve (2) - born about 1710
• William Eve (3) - born about 1712
• Elizabeth Eve - born 1714. She married Thomas Pees in 1761 in Chesterton.
• Richard Eve - born about 1716.
• Jacob Eve (4) - born 1722 in Chesterton
• Joseph Eve - born 1720 in Chesterton. He married Jane Smith in 1793 in Cambridge.
• Sarah Eve - born 1724 in Chesterton
• Alice Eve - born 1726 in Chesterton. She married Wilson Waites in 1760 in Cambridge.
• James Eve (5)- born 1728.
