The family originated from Stourbridge in the Midlands. They were married in 1854. Sarah's name before she was married was Winwood.

He married Lucy Isabella Hoad in 1880.She died in 1924. They had the following children.

• Richard Leslie Eve - born 1882.He married Ivy T Elvy in 1911.
• Sofia E Eve - born 1886. She married Cecil F Baker in 1918.
• Benjamin Eve - born 1888. He died in 1943.
• John H Eve - born 1891 He died in 1894.

The family also originated from Stourbridge in the Midlands. See reference to Benjamin Eve above. They may have been brothers.

Samuel John Leonard Eve was born 28th February 1876 in Karrick Queensland Australia. He died 30 November 1918 in Queensland Australia. He married Kate Benson on the 10 July 1897 at All Saints Church of England, Parramatta, New South Wales, Australia. Kate was born 10 February 1877 in Lower Bellinger River, New South Wales, Australia and died on the 31 July 1957 at Parramatta. Kate was cremated at the Northern Suburbs Crematorium, Lane Cove New South Wales, Australia. They had the following children.

• Gladys Eileen Malita Eve - born 18 January 1898 in Kempsey, New South Wales, Australia. She married Thomas Johnson in 1922 at Katoomba, New South Wales, Australia and died on 2 June 1994 at Harbord, New South Wales, Australia and was cremated at Northern Suburbs Crematorium, Lane Cove, New South Wales, Australia. She later married Leslie Gordon Hall ( no records date found prior to 1945, sister Madge was still living at time of Gladys' marriage to Leslie, Leslie and Madge were divorced) (see below). She had one daughter Marjorie Lorraine Johnson born 15 July 1923 Parramatta, New South Wales, Australia and died 13 July 2001 at Dee Why, New South Wales, Australia, she was cremated at Northern Suburbs Crematorium, Lane Cove, New South Wales, Australia. Marjorie married in 1943 at Parramatta, New South Wales, Australia, to Bede Edgar Moore born 1922 and he died 3 May 1988 at South Curl Curl, New South Wales, Australia and was cremated at Northern Suburbs Crematorium, Lane Cove New South Wales, Australia. They had one daughter (living).
• Leonard Roy Eve - born 1900 at Macksville, New South Wales, Australia. He married Marjorie E Henson in 1927 at Katoomba, New South Wales, Australia. Marjorie was born in 1905 at Katoomba, New South Wales, Australia. They had one daughter (living).
• Madge Thelma Eve - born 1905 at Katoomba, New South Wales, Australia. Alma and Laurence divorced on the 21 August 1978. They had 2 daughters (living) and 2 sons (one living). He is buried at Church of England Cemetery, Rookwood, New South Wales, Australia. He married Maria Appleby in 1871 at St. Thomas Church, Stepney, London, UK. Maria was born on the 9th January 1843 in Walthamstow, Essex UK. She died in 7th July 1934 at Lidcombe NSW AUST. Maria and John Thomas Eve are buried together at Rookwood Cemetery. Maria's parents names were Christopher Appleby and Mary Cooper. John Thomas and Mary had 4 children Mary Eve born 31 May 1873, Samuel J L Eve born 28 February 1876, Edith Flora Eve born 29 January 1879 and Emma Eve born 1880.
